You are invited by the San Gorgonio Pass Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) to attend a public hearing to consider adoption of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) for the San Gorgonio Pass Subbasin (DWR Basin No. 7-021.04). The GSP was prepared pursuant to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and California Water Code Section 10727 et seq.
The GSA provided a Notice of Intent to adopt a GSP to Riverside County and the City of Banning on September 17, 2021. A downloadable copy of the GSP has been posted on the GSA website (www.sgpgsas.org) for public review since October 1, 2021.
The public, agencies, and other interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide oral or written comments. Comments received during the public hearing may be considered by the GSA for its determination to adopt the proposed GSP. The GSA is expected to consider adoption of the GSP immediately following the public hearing.
