Barbara Voigt is currently the longest-serving member of the Agency Board.  She was first elected in November 1989. She is the only woman on the seven- member Board of Directors.  She represents Division 4, which includes most of Cherry Valley and a portion of the City of Beaumont.  She is the Chair of the Finance and Budget Committee and serves on the Engineering Committee. 

She is a longtime resident of Cherry Valley, having raised a family there with her late husband.  Her son, a fireman, and daughter-in-law, an emergency room R.N., live in Beaumont.  To set an example and conserve water she removed 10,000 sq. ft. of lawn from her home and developed a beautiful drought tolerant display garden with over 100 different kinds of plants and trees. She is an avid freshwater kayaker, saltwater kayaker, and loves camping and gardening.

Re-elected in 2006, her term runs through November 2010.
